In 2015 Adam went to work in the office of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, where he worked as a Constituent Services Representative. In 2016, while living in Lansing Township, he was appointed and later elected to the Lansing Township Board of Trustees. During his time in office Adam fought for equitable property taxes for residents, investment in township parks, and voted three times against raising his own pay.
In 2019 he began working in Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s office as the Deputy Director for Constituent Services, a role he would serve in during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. He helped lead his division as thousands of Michiganders contacted the Governor’s office with questions, concerns, issues with unemployment benefits and other state departments, and more.
Today, Adam works as a Legislative Analyst with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. He also serves as a member of the East Lansing Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission (previously serving as Chair and Vice Chair), has served as a member of the city’s Community Development Advisory Committee, and as a member of the Ingham County Board of Canvassers.
Adam lives in East Lansing’s Northern Meadows neighborhood with his family. He loves all things MSU, enjoys learning about history, and exploring East Lansing’s beautiful parks system.
